Advanced Genetics is a mod created by ObsiLP which adds Genetic-Science to Minecraft.

This is a short guide to Advanced Genetics.

  1. The first thing you need is a Scraper. Rightclick on an Entity with the Scraper and you
    will get Skin Scales.
  2. Put these Skin Scales into a DNA Analyser and you will get Cells and Organic Drops.
  3. With these Cells you have to craft a Basic DNA Dictionary. Trust me. You need this item for all the
    following machines.
  4. The next step is to put the Cell into the DNA Extractor. It will return a Helix.
  5. This Helix is encrypted so you have to put it into the DNA Decrypter.
  6. The last normal step is to put your Helix into the DNA Splitter. This block allows you to choose
which Genes you want to split from the Helix. It outputs the choosen Gene and Organic Drops.
  7. After that you have to put your Gene into the right slot of the DNA Breeder. You can see at the bottom
how many other Genes you have to put into the left slot. (Basic Genes add 1 State, the same Gene as in the right slot 2)
  8. When you Gene is completed you have to extract your blood by using a Syringe. Put this Syringe into the Centrifuge.
  9. The Centrifuge will return a Centrifuged Syringe. To add your Gene you must put the Gene and the Syrgine into the DNA Combiner.
  10. After this step you only have to centrifuge your Syringe again and then you can inject it back into yourself.
Voilà! Your Gene is now in your DNA!

This mod adds in the three main species involved in the movies as mobs, aliens, predators, and of course a few human variants. And of course you will need something to kill those enemies with, so we added a bunch of new weapons yo obliterate them with! But you don't have to be someone who plays survival to get the best out of the mod, because the mod adds in a bunch of building materials for the creative side of people as well.

The major feature of BuildCraft is the pipes. Pipes are used to transport items, fluids, and mechanical energy between inventories/machines. Pipes can be combined with Pipe Sealant to allow them to make Fluid Pipes that can transport liquids or with Redstone to make Kinesis Pipes to allow them to transport mechanical energy.

In BuildCraft, there are a variety of machines that can be used to automate processes. They all require BuildCraft power to function, provided by one or more engines.

Overview

ChromatiCraft is a large exploration-based magic mod centered around harnessing and focusing the power of the 16 colors of crystal energy present in the Minecraft world. Each color of energy is associated with certain traits, from light to protection to agility.

In ChromatiCraft, you can use this energy in two main ways.
One major use is to drive various devices which run on the energy. These have a wide variety of applications, and can be used to augment farms of various kinds, protect an area, enhance the power of other machines, and more.
The other major use of the energy is to imbue yourself with magic powers, which give you the ability to do things like substantially extend your reach, protect you from arrow fire, and help in the collection of items and experience.

ChromatiCraft is primarily based around exploration; you need to explore and try out the entry level of the mod before the higher levels become accessible. It is not designed to be used immediately in a new world; it is expected players will start by doing other things and will naturally acquire the required progress to meaningfully begin.

Introduction

While exploring, you will occasionally find an unusual structure, made of dark stone columns, beams, and tiles. Near the top is a ring of eight blocks engraved with a strange, glowing symbol. At the top of the structure sits a glowing beacon, one visibly and audibly (and if you get too close, palpably) radiating with raw crystal power.

At first, these pylons of energy will be little more than scenery, but they become crucial to your progress later on, as they are the source of all your energy.

More immediately useful are the crystals found deep in the caves underground.  Standing near a crystal will give living entities small stat effects which last for 10 seconds. Crystals cannot be mined directly - they drop shards which are your main crafting ingredient. However, they can be harvested with silk touch to get the actual crystal. Crystal shards can also be used to brew potions, some of which (such as jump boost) are not available normally.

"Potion Crystals" can also be made. Much more costly than a lamp, they double the aesthetic function of a lamp with a 5-minute level-3 potion effect, akin to a scaled-down beacon.

Crystals generate in every dimension except the end, and are most frequent in the Twilight Forest. Nether crystals deal different and much nastier effects.

Getting Started

To get started with ChromatiCraft, explore until you find a number of cave crystals. These shards are your key to get started. Combine them with a crafting table to get a special crystalline variant, and use some more to make a crystal manipulator. This is the table on which you will craft the rest of your equipment and devices, and the manipulator is the tool you will use to trigger crafting, among other uses. For now, however, the table's power is limited, and you need to become more familiar with its use. Once you have done so, you can build a structure around it to help focus its power.

ComputerCraft is a modification for Minecraft that’s all about computer programming. It allows you to build in-game Computers and Turtles, and write programs for them using the Lua programming language. The addition of programming to Minecraft opens up a wide variety of new possibilities for automation and creativity. If you’ve never programmed before, it also serves as excellent way to learn a real world skill in a fun, familiar environment.

I, Tombenpotter, am here to present Electro-Magic Tools, an IC2 Experimental addon I made. Now, you will probably wonder what it is. Well, the answer would be simple : look in the Book. And by book, I mean Thaumonomicon! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, you heard it right! My addon is not only relying on IndusctrialCraft 2, but also works, and needs Thaumcraft 4! My mod adds no more worldgen to the game, using solely IC2 and Thaumcraft 4's ores and structures. However, it adds an item to dungeon chests, so you need newly generated chunks to be able to find it.

I make this mod solely for fun, and I don't want you to donate any money, granted you wanted to. If you really want to donate some money, go give some to the IC2 guys or Azanor, they all deserve it more than I do. Almost all the textures were remade by CyanideX. I want to give him a huge thanks for that!

FlenixCities is a mod designed to bringing the modern world into Minecraft, in every possible aspect.

Food - Extremely advanced food system, altering the way food works on a very fundamental level. No longer will you put up with eating a bland cooked porkchop; craft yourself complex meals in various different ways with literally thousands of combinations!

Large Buildings - For example a sports stadium, or a shopping center. This includes the infamous escalator and travellator which people seem to simultaneously love and hate.

Office - For things you might find in an office! Includes all the computers and so on.

Streets - This will be things which you'd find on the streets, that aren't already part of FlenixRoads. Note that right now it only contains the "Street Blocks" (16 blocks), but it's still important for those with existing worlds.
