The Power Apples Mod adds some cool apples, giving you special abilities. I recommend to use NEI or TMI to see the crafting recipes.

This mod adds in the ability for players to use themselves as a source of food when the time calls for it.

Knifes: Shift-right clicking them will cause the user to take 2.5 - 3 hearts of damage and drop one piece of their flesh. Additionally, right-clicking on other mobs that would normally drops food (including villagers) will cause them to drop their respective meat and take damage according to this scale:

Cows: 1.25 ~ 1.5 hearts of damage.

Chickens: Set to kill the chicken as they drop their bodies as food.

Pigs: 1.25 ~ 1.5 hearts of damage.

Villagers (Shift-click): 2.5 ~ 3 hearts of damage.

Zombies: 2.5 ~ 3 hearts of damage.

Other Players: 2.5 ~ 3 hearts of damage.

Foods:

Player Flesh: Raw Player flesh (Left) restores 2 hunger while Cooked Player flesh (Right) restores 4. Drops when player dies or via knife or by using the knife on them..

Villager Flesh: Raw Villager flesh (Left) restores 2 hunger while Cooked Villager flesh (Right) restores 4. Drops when villager dies or by using the knife, while sneaking, on them.

How to use:

Simple place down a carvable pumpkin and right click and the GUI will appear. From here, you can customize your pumpkin. Left Click will Carve, and right click will undo. 

Dessertcraft adds delicious new treats to Minecraft! You could eat an ice cream or a popsicle while exploring your world or munch on a cupcake while chilling at home!

Mint Leaf and chocolate chips can't be eaten.
Plain Popsicles and Uncooked Brownies heal 1 1/2 hunger bars.
All other foods heal 2 1/2 hunger bars.

The Master Chef mod adds:

Crops:

To begin with culturing most of the fruit/vegetables, you need to break the world generated bushes. 
This will give you the fruit/vegetable Or this will give you the seeds of the fruit/vegetable. 
Now you can use the seeds to plant it on farmland and grow your crop.
(If you have the fruit/vegetable, you just put it in the crafting table to turn it into seeds)

 

Some crops don't need any seeds to be planted.

The Cooking Furnace.

The Cooking Furnace cooks the food faster than a normal one, but It will not work for ores etc...

1. Place your ingredient in the first input.
2. Now Place your butter in the second input.
3. Now use fuel to make the furnace work.

The Dehydrator.

The Dehydrator is used for drying food, to get raisins, dried blueberry,... 
It does not need any food to dry, but you can make it dry faster by putting coal in the fuel slot. 
If the dehydrator is out side, it dries faster on a normal day (sunny day), but will go slower in the rain. 
But you can however, put glass above the dehydrator to get effect of sunny days (if it's not raining), but will go at normal speed when it is a rainy day. 

1. Place your item you want to dry in the bottom inputs (1-4). 
2. Now Wait or use fuel to make it dry faster until your food is dried.

Are you constantly out adventuring and gathering resources and finding yourself in sticky situation, one where digging a hole in the earth is sometimes the only option to survive? To me that seems rather silly, burying yourself alive when darkness falls over your Minecraft world! Perhaps you would like a better option, a portable home of sorts much like you would in real life, by using camping gear! The Camping Mod are a variety of smaller mods that all introduce some type of camping based equipment at your disposal. You can create fires in the middle of your campground, giving you a place to cook the new food item, marshmallows! You can feel just like you were really camping, roasting these around a fire! You can even color tents, find spawned in campsites with new mobs and even includes new achievements!

This mod adds a single food item, called trail mix.

This food item does plenty of crazy things when eaten.
It grants you:
Super Punch (with comic explosion effects!)
Super Speed (even without sprinting!)
Dispense Fireballs with Middle mouse in an empty hand, once you've eaten enough [By default you need at least 1:00 worth]! (Shooting beneath you "rocket jumps" you up!)
Fall Dampening (with *poof* effect!)
Only someone like you would eat it... But wait! Perhaps the critters would like them too?

Unfortunately, all the animals turn their heads at trail mix... all but the pig!

Give the pig some trail mix and watch what happens!

This mod adds 7 foods, and 1 item!!  ALL PILLS CAN BE EATEN WITHOUT BEING HUNGRY, BUT IF YOU ARE HUNGRY, IT WILL GIVE YOU HUNGER BARS!!

Hello! This is a mod that I created a long time ago and never published, so I thought I'd port it to Minecraft 1.8 and release it. It adds a simple new way to do something useful with your rotten flesh. You can freshen them up a little and then cook them into delicious zombie steaks. Well... not exactly delicious but at least they shouldn't poison you. Enjoy!

Includes 6 flavors of creeper!

This mod was an idea inspired by a friend to add ice cream sandwich creepers to Minecraft! This mod features 5 flavors of ice cream creating 6 types of ice cream sandwiches and 6 types of creepers! (Vanilla, Strawberry, Chocolate, Mint Chocolate Chip, Orange Sherbert, and Neapolitan) Killing a creeper earns yourself an ice cream sandwich of their flavor but, if you get too close, they explode into a pile of ice cream, but also do no damage to the environment, players, or other mobs (although there is an option in the properties file to turn on explosions). There is also a 1/100 chance for them to drop a decorative skull of their flavor. Ice cream sandwiches themselves replenish 3 food bars, and can also be crafted separately with ice cream and chocolate wafers. You can also eat the ice cream for 1/2 a food bar, but a 33% chance to get brain freeze (slowing effect for 15 seconds) The creepers only spawn in cold environments (day and night) and tend to blend in, so keep your eyes peeled! Alternatively you can also spawn them with an Ice Cream Sandwich Creeper Egg in the creative inventory and random flavors will be chosen per spawn. Last, but not least, you can craft Ice Cream Sandwich armor, a sword, blocks, and icecreamification bombs (which can transform creepers into ice cream sandwich creepers) using these tasty treats. Wearing the full armor set also will yield bonus effects! So grab an ice cream sandwich and enjoy!
