Project Zulu : A Better Overworld is a mod that provides a more engaging, challenging and ultimately a far better Minecraft Overworld experience thru the addition of unique Mobs, Plants/Trees, Items, Blocks, Structures/Dungeons and Game Mechanics. 
 

Start by creating a new world. Then click "More World Options". Then click "World Type" until you see "Biomes O Plenty".

The Mana system works through aiming Mana Spreaders into other blocks, because pipes or instantaneous connections are boring.

Botania follows some design rules...
No pipes, wires or equivalent, they are boring and overdone;
Abstain from using GUIs in favour of in-world interaction;
Refrain from showing numbers to the player to minimize the incentive to minmax;
Provide pleasing visuals utilizing only two different particle effects;
Utilize or provide renewable resources where possible.

With a few goals in mind...
Deliver fun and balanced gameplay, without the use of grinding;
Incentivize sandbox gameplay and the creation of fun contraptions;
Provide an immersive experience overall.

The goal of this mod is to automate tree farming as much as possible without becoming entirely overpowered. Full automation can currently only be achieved if the mod is used in conjunction with BuildCraft.
